Knutsen OAS Shipping AS is a fully integrated shipping company. We do shipping operation, newbuilding supervision, chartering and project development in-house. The head quarter is in Haugesund, Norway.

Knutsen OAS Shipping (KOAS) has management on product tankers, chemical tanker and LNG tankers, and Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers (KNOT) has management on shuttle tankers and FSO's.

We are looking for a Solution architect who can help us design the future IT and Application landscape. The Solution Architect will design, build and oversee the implementation of network and computer architecture for onshore and offshore ICT systems. 

NB! Graduates with relevant education will be considered.

 

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Design solutions, technical specifications, operational documentation and routines 
  • Project management / project participation 
  • Provide technical supervision for and guidance to IT sourcing partner  

 

Qualifications 

  • Relevant BSc/MSc degree or work experience
  • Eo Administration of Windows servers and clients 

       o Networking 

       o Palo Alto firewall 

       o Cloud computing 

       o Holistic understanding of IT-infrastructure 

       o Microsoft Office365 xperience working with solution design or architecture

  • Experience with risk management
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
  • Experience in one or more of below technologies:
